- The colosseum currently guarantees special access to the arena floor which is off limits to the general public. The arena area is where the gladiator fights took place and also gives you the closest view of the underground area possible
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Remember to bring a valid photo ID for each passenger

Elena was a great guide - she was a wealth of information. It was particularly enlightening having her lead us through the Roman Forum. She made the place come to life. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We highly recommend booking with LivTours.
Great choice for a small group tour

This is a well organized tour with guides that have lots of experience and education. We were well positioned to be first inside of the Colosseum. As a history major in university, I appreciated the spot on accuracy of our guide. She also used role play within our very small group to bring ancient stories alive with the correct context. This is something I have never experienced, but would encourage other guides to try. An excellent tour.

Serafina was an excellent guide and made the Colosseum come alive for us. Her English was excellent and the material pitched at the right level. She also provided us with extra helpful information to support our trip later in the week with individual tickets to the Attico/forum/palatine hill and Super sites.
We initially booked an underground tour so I was disappointed that it was changed into Arena access, as they were unable to obtain those tickets. I consider this a fault of the ticketing process though, rather than the tour operator. Regardless I was happy with the communication regarding this.
We had a semi private tour and I was happy that it was kept to under 6, as despite 6 being guaranteed’ I have heard of extra people being added.
Queries were responded to politely and fast. Even when I was getting a bit neurotic about the underground cancellation.
Overall I think LivTours care about their customers, communicate well and supply quality tour guides.

Marko, our guide, is an absolute walking encyclopedia! Extremely knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions. The tour was astounding! To walk on the Colosseum floor was enough to give me goose bumps. Definitely recommend this small group tour.
