- Occasionally the Basilica may be closed due to last minute private events outside of the tour operators control and often without notice. In these uncommon circumstances the tour will operate as usual and the time spent inside the basilica will be made up elsewhere on the tour. No refunds will be granted in the event the Basilica is closed
- Starting in 2024, the Vatican Museums will discontinue early access for ALL tour providers, instead opening to the public at 8AM. This tour will then be offered as a first entrance experience, which we recommend for a less crowded, more personalized, and fully guided experience.
- Vatican management maintains the right to delay the opening of the Sistine Chapel for religious reasons, in this case the guide will modify the itinerary and extend your visit of the museums to ensure you make the most of your time before access to the Sistine Chapel is permitted.
- Please note St Peter's Basilica is closed on most Wednesday's. If you book during a day in which the Basilica is closed, your tour of the Vatican Museums will be extended to compensate the closure
- Access to the Raphael Rooms is contingent upon crowd conditions, timing constraints, and guard-regulated routes. Including them may not always be feasible. In these cases, your tour guide will exercise discretion to adjust the itinerary, ensuring a high-quality experience.
- Not recommended for travelers with mobility issues

We had Sarah N as our guide of the Vatican and she was the absolute best I have ever experienced. This was my second visit to the Vatican and she was outstanding. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We spent 3 hours on her tour and when it was finished, we were a little disappointed that we were finished. the Vatican museums can be very busy and overwhelming. Sarah made this tour a most enjoyable experience.

Good way to get into see real marvels

The visit to the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel was amazing. This got us in early and avoided the worst of the midday crowds. It took us a little while to figure out the meeting place, so that we were among the last groups entering. Nevertheless, the richness of the Vatican Museum was overwhelming. We hurried a bit through it in order to get to the Sistine Chapel, but we did go over the figures in the Sistine Chapel beforehand. I was surprised how small it is. As with all groups, the actual time in the Chapel is fairly brief due to the crowds. However, that was followed by a leisurely time in St Peter's basilica.

Our guide Anna (big mama)was fantastic. Knowledgeable and was able to give us so many insights. Very patient as well. The wait at the coffee shop and over the road once we met was longer than I expected. I didn't really know what to expect but was a wonderful experience.
