- The Vatican generally quiets down again in the late afternoon, but there is a chance the museums may still be crowded while you are inside
- You are advised to be ready at the meeting point up to 15 minutes ahead of the start time to ensure a prompt start. After leaving the meeting point, your guide will bring you inside the Vatican Museums. Since we have a strict entrance time, in case of delays and late arrivals, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to add you to the group. Depending on the size of your group, headphones may be used for some tours. In that case, headphones will be provided. However you may use your own earbuds if you wish

Brilliant Vatican tour

Our guide Aiko was brilliant. We covered so much in the allocated time. Aiko was very knowledgeable and shared so much information. Vatican is such a large space, and a tour makes best of the time. So much to see. Sistine chapel is amazing👍
Guided Tour helps you appreciate everything even more

Seeing the sheer scale of the art and all the collections. Too much to take in really in the one visit, but by having a guided tour if gives a better idea of the history, scale and achievement of it all.

Very crowded. Hard to stay together as a group and a little hard to hear guide through the sound system, but guide did her best under the circumstances.

Lots of knowledge shared with additional interesting facts about the artists and popes. My only issue was it did not appear that my note about my mother’s medical issues were seen or considered during the tour.

I think skip the line tours with a guide are better as they're faster and an experienced person helps you see things through a lens that you otherwise would've missed. And those all things were true here - we got to skip the lines and had a wonderful guide who gave in depth explanations about everything.
Having said that, I felt this one was quite overpriced. The total cost on the tickets we were given was mentioned as 25 euros per person, but we actually paid >100 euros per person, which doesn't seem right.
