American cemetery the highlight.

First of all, our guide Ash was wonderful and very informative!! What I am about to say does not reflect on his performance. This is my second time to visit this designation using a tour. Disappointed that the time at American cemetery was only 25 minutes, especially because I had been extremely sick after lunch and spent time in bathroom. Wished I had different cuisine options and even chose poorly between the three options given. Really wished we had not gone to cider tasting and spent more time at cemetery. However I may realize I may have been able to book without it and will next time. Ash was great though!!
Great tour!

Overall, a great tour. Logistics were excellent- no problem finding the meeting point; the bus left precisely on time. The two guides, Sam and Eric, were both superb and easy to understand. We liked that there two drivers to divide the long driving task. The only two minor drawbacks were 1) the lunch was just so-so; and 2) the cider tasting was totally unnecessary and a waste of time that could/should have been spent at the Utah beach museum. We understand the necessity of supporting the local residents and economy but frankly, we would have gladly paid an extra €10-20 if it were to go directly to a local Normandy business and spend the extra 30 minutes seeing the sites. After all, we didn’t really sign up for a 3 hour bus ride primarily to taste some cider. One other minor complaint was that they didn’t allow any hot beverages on the bus, even covered. And this wasn’t announced ahead of time so the coffee that I had just purchased at the Hilton near the departure point had to be dumped. But overall, the trip was fabulous and very moving.
Ash is the BEST!

My husband is a professional historian and I am an enthusiastic amateur and we were in AWE of Ash's encyclopedic knowledge of history from the Parisi of the BC period all the way up to June 6, 1944. Amazing! Were not happy that the cider tasting (nasty!) ate into our time at the American Cemetery at Normandy, though!
Overall, nice tour.

Overall, nice tour. Would have liked to spend more time at Museum & Normandy locations. A true, total walking tour. Raymond & Eric were informative and easy to deal with on tour. They cared about their tour and those on the tour.
Good experience, met my expectations.

Enjoyed the trip very much. Sam and Eric gave good concise review of the history leading up to the war. Could do without the cider.
