Unforgettable!

The guide did a great job explaining all the history at the various sites. Very memorable trip! Well worth the cost.
Tour great customer service horrible!

The tour from Paris to Normany was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The problem is I paid for my husband and I to have a small group tour. We were on a huge regular size tour bus with well over 30 people. Having paid the small group fee I wanted to request a price adjustment. It's impossible to contact anyone at Viator regarding this matter. It's sad that customer service does not exist. Will not use this company again because of this issue.
Normandy WWII beaches

The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. It was a bus tour of the beaches, cemetery and no museum stops.
Very sad for the thousands of lives that were lost (on both sides).

The guide provided very interesting details about the war and the invasion details. Seeing the beaches where the landings happened was sobering as well as the remnants of the German guns, unbelievable. The coach could have been set up better such as providing inside lighting and water, considering the price. I as a Canadian would have liked more time at Juno Beach Center.
Not enough time at the places on the tour

Normandy is a very important place to visit. But if you come from Paris, you simply don’t have time for anything more than stopping briefly at the important sites. . I found that frustrating. If you really want to see Normandy, do not travel from Paris. It adds more than six hours of transportation to the visit. I had expected the guide to add historical context On our bus trip, but he did not. And booking through Viator was unnecessarily difficult. We booked a ticket for hotel pick up and drop off. We were picked up in the morning and delivered to the Group meeting site, but at the end of the tour we had to get our own taxi back to the hotel. Despite having paid for drop off. I would not use Viator again.
