The tours were great! The wineries we went to were amazing— great food and wine. We learned a lot. But the highlight of the trip was our tour guide— Aurlien was amazing to tour with. He was so knowledgeable and kind to our group. He really made us feel welcome and taught us all about the region and the champagne making process!

Nicholas started our day perfectly with a croissant and a smile as we departed Paris for the champagne region. Pick up was on time, and the schedule for our day was clear. He gave a nice overview of the champagne making process, made a quick detour to see Dom Perignon’s tomb, then showed us a large-scale cooperative, followed by a great lunch at a smaller wine maker. Lunch exceeded my expectations! From there, we were off to our final tour at a family run winery with a nice explanation of the blending process. We were deposited safely back in central Paris to enjoy our evening. The small group was lovely and very prompt and friendly. The tastings were generous, but not too much to spoil the day.

I really enjoyed getting a little time in the vineyard and since harvest had just ended, getting to eat a few ripe grapes that were still on the vines. Lunch at the small family operated winery was also delightful.

We had an amazing tour with Cedric! We learned more from him than we have ever learned on a wine tour. The drive to Champagne was nice and easy - Cedric was prompt in picking us up. The wineries (and lunch which was also a winery) we visited were beautiful - unique experiences at each. While the whole tour was great, we were most pleasantly surprised by all of the extra/personal touches - chocolate croissants for a quick breakfast snack, a bottle of Rose Champagne to sip while admiring the vineyards at a viewpoint. Overall great tour and would definitely recommend. Can't want to come back!
