The worst experience I had by booking a ticket attraction online. I booked the ticket to see the Colloseum, Roman Forums and Palentine Hill. I made the booking with Headout. And 1 day before the trip starts, Touristation sent me a whatsapp message saying that the ticket is over booked and they offered me a different kind of trip but not including the Colloseum with still a full price, of course we are not interested. They offered to give us a full refund, and until today there was no email being sent out. I tried to contact the customer service again, and they never replied anymore. I believe this is not the first time they cancelled a ticket with over-booking problems and customer never get refunded as promised. If you are experiencing and receiving the same message from whatsapp, make sure they will pay you back on the spot!!!! Because Headout company is the worst booking company so far and will never replied to any of your inquiries if there is a problem.

Go to the main entrance. This gives you the ability to look through all of the forum. The rebel that was left at the gardens that were walked right next to the Colosseum. If I were you, I would start in the forum. Takes about 3 1/2 hours to truly get all sites done. Then head to the Colosseum. Now, sometimes when it has an 11 o’clock booking. Which I booked for. Our opening for the Colosseum wasn’t until 115. That actually worked out much better. It gave me the hours I needed to look at the forum. And to be ready to go.

Book a Colosseum tour with another company. I looked up their website (Touristation) and the description there was NOTHING like what we experienced. The person who sold us the tour drew a stick figure on our map and said “go see this guy who will be standing by himself to redeem your youth ticket.” Well, we get to the Colosseum area and ask 3 different people and get 3 different answers. Turns out, the people who had the correct answer were the people in the ticket office, the officials in charge of the site. We spent hours figuring it out, and we weren’t the only ones. Scammers. Awful.

Ticket system is poor. Having purchased and downloaded from Viator, we still had to trek to a tourist information centre which was 20 minutes walk from the Collesium difficult to find if like me your data runs out. There is a info centre across the road from the Collesium so why you can't use that one instead of walking alot further just doesn't make sense. Near missed our slot due to this. I can't help but think those a little older would struggle with this process aswell as many others. Wouldn't bother booking on here and just pay at the nearest info centre kn the day you decide to visit somewhere.
