- Meet your guide in Via del Colosseo nr 31, in front of Caffe Roma, above the second floor of the Colosseum metro stop(blue line).
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time.
- If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
- Please provide an active phone number during the booking process in order to be contacted about last minute changing.
- Pets are not allowed inside the venue
- Every participant MUST bring an id or a photo of it. It is mandatory requested by the monument in order to enter the Colosseum Underground.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

What we did see was great. Unfortunately we did not see all that was supposed to be included. Disclaimer, we were notified that the underground portion was not possible and we did receive a partial refund. When booking, they stress the importance of arriving on time or they would leave without you and no refund. So, we were on time. Who wasn’t on time? Our guide. We waited well over 30 minutes to get started. The tour was supposed to include Palatine Hill. Never made it. There are so many options to see the Colosseum. Find someone else.

Would not recommend Viator. We booked the underground tour of the Colosseum and a couple of weeks prior to visiting we received a note that led us to believe the venue was not going to allow the underground portion of the Colosseum be toured. When we arrived we found out that there were many tour groups touring the underground portion of the Colosseum. Our understanding is that Viator oversold their allotment of people to tour the underground portion and we were cut from this portion of the tour. Had they been honest with us we could have booked with another tour company. Our only trip to Italy and we did not get to see what we booked and paid for due to what we feel was a deceptive practice. They reimbursed a portion of the tour, but this was little consolation. Would not recommend Viator.

Very difficult to find the tour upon arrival. The paperwork gave the address to meet at but address was locked. No where on the paper did it say meet guide at end of the street. When we finally located the guide after asking multiple people for help they were operating under a completely different name than Viator.
The tour guide was kind and knowledgeable, but her her mic kept cutting in and out making it difficult to hear what she was saying.
At the end of the tour the guide pointed a few times ( mic cut out) and said ok so now you know where the exit is , collected the yellow boxes and left.

We thought the underground tour was going to be the highlight of our tour, but actually the few hours before it going through all of the history was just as good... our guide was Paolo and she has been giving tours for 25 years ...must have started when she was 10 : ) Whe was delightful, knowledgeable and fun! We had a great time and learned a lot of history... thank you

Loved our tour of the Forum with Ultimate Italy. Our guide was friendly and spoke English very well. He gave us a lot of information about the history of the area and specifically what we were looking at. He wasn’t the guide for the Colosseum though. That was through the staff of the Colosseum. The group was large, she didn’t speak English very well and when you’re at the back of the line, you are too far away from the signal to be able to hear her. Overall though, the Colosseum is amazing and the underground tour part was pretty magical.
