A great stop in the middle of the shopping day.

The aquarium overall was very nice; we enjoyed the tunnel and other exhibits. For example, the King Croc was very impressive to see. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I would have liked the whole underwater zoo to be just a little bit bigger. We spent approximately 2 hours there, but that was only because we went through it really slowly.

Getting mad at this tour provider for giving us expired tickets. What a stressful experience. Would not recommend this 3rd party tour dealer.

What you really need to know - from a couples POV

Here is what you REALLY need to know from an extremely fussy traveller. You’ll get brutally honest feedback in all my reviews.
We’re a couple 40/42 from the uk, the trip was for my wife’s 40th birthday
What we booked:
- direct with the aquarium site
- VIP trip including animal encounter
Having been to aquarium’s all over the world I was left feeling vastly underwhelmed. The fast track part of our ticket was utterly pointless. The ultimate tour (bit of a glass bottom boat and fish feeding) was a bit pathetic. We were never actually offered the guided tour. The itinerary also came with food and gift vouchers - which they didn’t even give us.
The otter experience was actually excellent - really excellent and memorable - but it’s no photos and they rinse you for those afterwards!!
Some of the other zoo bits are nice, but nothing a sea life centre doesn’t offer you.
In summary, if it wasn’t for the otter encounter we definitely wish we would have spent our money elsewhere.

Amazing adventure with fabulous exhibits and a ride in a clear bottom boat
The fish/sharks were just breathtaking to see with a tunnel to walk under with vast tanks and fish assortment swimming above.
It really is very pricey however, staff do take pictures of you (optional to buy) in various locations
I did buy a water-filled 6x4 picture: £40 very steep for what is was.
3 adults and 1 child came to around £230. We did buy on the day so not sure if they have any admission deals at all
Totally would recommend despite the insane prices, it really is rather wonderful.
