Venture into the desert with photo stops and enjoy a complimentary quad bike ride at the desert camp, barbecue dinner and traditional Emairati entertainment on this 5 to 6 hour 4x4 safari from Dubai. As the sun starts to set, scale the dunes on your 4x4 and arrive at a Bedouin-style camp for welcome snacks, shisha, Arabic coffee and dates. Then, take an exciting complimentary quad ride , watch henna artists at work, enjoy a camel ride, and admire impressive sand art. Finish with a barbecue dinner under the stars as you watch belly dancers and a ‘tanoura’ dance, with whirling dervish dancers spinning before you, fire dance.

Our Dubai safari experience was amazing! We’d heard from friends that it was something really worth doing and it was!
We were picked up from our down town hotel and although the driver was running late, he was kind enough to message us and let us know. We were picked up in a large Nissan 4x4 and shared the vehicle with a couple who happened to be from Australia also! There were 4 of us so myself and my teenage kids were a little cramped in the seats that were in the very back of the vehicle. It was a 7 seater. My son is very tall so he was very squashed but survived! The dune 4x4 driving was the first activity and we got straight into that as we arrived in the desert after about a 45 min drive from the city. The tyres are let down to allow for safer driving in the sand and it was so fun. Our driver was very experienced and although I was thrown around like being on a roller coaster I felt safe at all times. After the dune bashing ( the kids in particular loved it ) we went on the quad bikes. A different guide took us out into the desert on these and we followed him around a track. My daughter at 14 had never ridden/ driven one before so she was shown how to and she gave it a go. She loved it! Next were the camels. Another man took us on separate camels all linked together for a short but fun walk around in a the desert. After all these activities it was time to relax in the camp, we were shown to our seats at a table around a stage and given some traditional entree. The stage show was amazing with a tradition male dancer, a fire dancer and then 2 belly dancers. The BBQ food was great and there was plenty. It was very hot but as the sun went down the desert had a very special feel. On the way home we we got a flat tyre and our driver had to pull over and change the tyre. He did such a great job and was very apologetic.
I’d highly recommend this experience if you’re up for an authentic desert experience.

The desert tour was spectacular, the driver was very attentive. Vehicles in excellent condition. Dinner was varied. The only thing that included us were the sand skateboards and they skipped that step of the others very good

A fantastic experience, I recommend you use Viator. They are extremely professional and the gentleman who drove us, named Khal, was excellent. It is definitely worth taking part in this great experience!
