Horrible process to buy tickets from Trip Advisor. Great Museum

Downloading the tickets from Trip Advisor who used Viator to arrange the tickets after purchase was a disaster.
The email claimed they would arrive in 30 minutes. I did not receive an email until the next day stating here are your tickets. Required that I download the Trip Advisor App. Finally able to download a page with a QR code
I arrived at the Timed Entry Line and was told what appeared to be the ticket was not.
I rechecked my Email to find a 3rd email that did not mention tickets in the subject headline. Thankfully it did have a link to download the tickets.
The Louvre itself is vast and full of treasures. Highly recommend reading a tour guide or book before you go. Otherwise it is overwhelming. It’s easy to get lost even if you have a plan. Most of the employees speak English and are very helpful

What did I like? Nothing really. There was not a skip the line entry. It was huge. Need a few days to see it all.

Rated this 5 stars because this is their job but to find out tickets are $22 if you just buy them there is quite the defeat. I get you gotta make money but sheesh that mark up is wild 😂 live and you learn!

Definitely worth the money to avoid hour + queues in the summer heat. Arrive 15 minutes earlier than your entry time stayed as you will still have a 15 - 20 minute wait in peak season but the queue moves promptly.

Loved the louvre it was fantastic. The tickets we purchased for skip the line were extremely overpriced at triple the standard entry fee. Why?
