Reviews for Merchant City Music Walking Tour Of Glasgow
A top experience for music buffs

The tour was very well structured and organised, took in a significant part of older Glasgow and didn't involve that much actual walking. Phil, our guide, was incredibly knowledgable about the history and culture of all forms of popular music from the 1950's to the present day, and pointed out so many points of interest and what had gone on there. Even if you live in Glasgow you will learn an awful lot on this trip. Excellent experience and great value!
I enjoyed it

Amazing! Philip was great! He knows a lot and is really into music and Glasgow culture. The walk was brilliant! I will repeat it to catch up the things I missed up due I am not an English ( from Glasgow) speaker.
It's good to walk...

Received this as a birthday present and what a present it was. Fascinating, insightful, light-hearted and thoroughly enjoyable. Our host Phil was a fountain of knowledge on the Glasgow music, folk and cultural scene. Highlight for me was a visit to the Britannia Panopticon Music Hall, where Stan Laurel first performed. I didn't even know it existed. If you haven't done it then give it a go.
A musical treat
