Fabian, our tour guide made this tour
Christine_W
The tour of Paris With Fabian - oh my goodness was fabulous. She was the perfect guide for us. What a positive outlook with a great personality. We encountered some hiccups like free entry into the Louvre which meant it was like WDW at Spring Break! Or the wandering off guests delaying us moving on, and more. Smiling the whole way, she moved on to keep us on Schedule. All our tours were set via the website Viator which is part of Trip Advisor. They did not charge until a few days before by the way. When the tour ended she personally helped us buy and get on the train back to our stop - what a gift of a guide. The Eiffel Tower created for the World Fair yet now is the icon on Paris, is amazing, right now, it’s color is a yellow brown, yet when erected it was Red! They were still cleaning up from the Olympics yet that did not obstruct the view from Second floor. You could see forever…the building architecture was exquisite and detailed and when you viewed the city from up high, it was as if you jumped back in time. We were blessed with a French Military parade dressed in full traditional uniforms on horseback as we made our way to the Louvre. I did not know the Louvre was once a castle with a mote, that was later torn down. A palace was built right on top of the remnants. The Mona Lisa, yes amazing and the most popular piece of art stands out from the 35,000 other pieces. Fabian got us up close and personal to her. I forgot at one point the Mona Lisa was stolen yet returned thank goodness for us to enjoy. Rooms upon rooms of art with a story behind each. You could spend days here. Notre Dame, wow what a site. They have rebuilt this church from the fire with the same style equipment, tools and skill set that created it first! No modern tools were used they said. It will reopen to the public December this year. We were not permitted to go in yet I encourage to read up on the building of the roof, it is a miraculous creation of skill back then and now. Off to Mont Matre, high on top of the hill that looks onto Paris. What a view and what a magical place. It looks like a French Countryside Village high a top Paris. We must come back to enjoy the splendor Of this hill top, try the food, maybe shop too. Fabian made our stop in Paris memorable, we left educated and appreciative for the love in the heart of our beautiful tour guide, Fabian. Merci!

Rawda was our Tour guide and she was fantastic. She really made the most of our time and was sure to point out all the key sights we wanted to see. We spend a sufficient amount of time at each part of the tour. Did a great job keeping the group together and managing the Metro. Really had a great time and highly recommend.
