Join us for this 3 hour tour of a medieval palace right in the heart of London. The Tower of London is crammed full of history, once a prison, a royal palace, a royal menagerie and armoury. Our journey takes us through several towers, where we can re-live the lives previous inmates.
The highlight is the jewel house, where you will be dazzled by the magnificent display of gemstones and the crown jewels. Your private Blue Badge guide is full of facts and stories to engage and entertain you during the tour, making for a terrific experience.
If you have any children in your party they will enjoy a fun quiz with a prize at the end.

An impressive collection of structures with a long and interesting history. Seeing the crown jewels (behind glass and on a people mover) was the tour's highlight, and as others have mentioned, do that first before the queues lengthen. Our guide helped us navigate the buildings and displays, pointing out historically significant facts. (I'd be curious to take the free Yoeman Warder's tour to compare information.) There are some informational displays near the exhibits, but few go into deep historical detail, which we wished would have been included. Overall, an interesting tour, but would have liked more deeper historical context/facts/trivia.

Lucy was our amazing guide. She chatted with us about Tower history while the Tower opened and the initial line dissipated. We walked right in and toured the Tower while enjoying her amazing storytelling abilities. She was one of our top guides of the week!
