Brilliant tour with Matteo - highly recommend!

My mum and I had a great tour of the Louvre with Matteo. We saw many highlights in the museum (eg Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Liberty) and were also able to tour the museum by ourselves afterwards. Matteo was extremely patient, answered our questions and was friendly and personable. My mum (who is elderly) wasn’t able to do too many stairs, so he made sure to accommodate for her by using the lift. The tour took a bit longer than expected (just over 2 hours) because the others on our tour were a bit late to arrive but Matteo didn’t rush and made sure we had time to enjoy everything. It was excellent value for money. Thank you Matteo for a memorable experience!

The Ultimate Louvre Tour

Visiting the Louvre is a must, but the prospect of wondering around this vast complex wasn’t very appealing to both my husband and myself. We therefore considered a guided tour and we are so glad we did. Matt was our tour guide. He was polite, knowledgeable and very passionate about what the Louvre has to offer. He went above and beyond all expectations, even asking if we would like to extend the time as he had no further bookings on that day. My husband, who is not a lover of museums, enjoyed the tour so much that he would do it again! Yes it’s more costly than the usual entrance fee, but absolutely worth the money. Don’t just take our word for it, do it. You will not be disappointed.

We were very happy with the tour Matteo gave us. He was easy to communicate with and I changed our time several times and he was very accommodating! He met us promptly and was very professional. We needed access to a lift and he approached the situation with kindness and compassion. He gave us information about the paintings that I would not have known otherwise. He really enhanced our time at the Louvre! Thank you Matteo!

Matteo was excellent. Going to the Louvre on our own would have meant a long line and not really understanding the paintings we saw. He communicated efficiently even after I had to make a few changes. He met us on time with our tickets and was dressed professionally. We needed the lift and he was able to accommodate with kindness and compassion. He knew a lot about the art and the lay out of the museum. I learned so much from him and happy I decided to choose this tour! Thank you Matteo!
