Entertaining way to see historical highlights

First and foremost, our guide Mark was FABULOUS. He was so knowledgeable and very entertaining- one of the highlights of my trip. Saw and learned a lot. My first time in London so was glad to see some of the most historic sights. I did not realize that the war rooms were separate from the walking tour and that might’ve just been me misreading the description… So we did the three hour tour and then it included entrance to the war rooms. There they had an audio guide and that was super interesting to see also, it was a great way to spend our day! Would highly recommend

A great way to see and learn about London

We did the walking tour with Ashley yesterday. I would real recommend it for anyone that has a few hours and wants to learn a bit of history in an entertaining way. We walked around through a lot of parks and near the palaces so it was pleasant and lots of opportunities to take pictures. We also had a bathroom break at a cafe in the park about half way through. The tour is 3 hours but you are only walking for parts as Ashley got everyone to stop when he was talking. We booked on the tour with the Churchill war rooms but I didn’t realize in advance that this comes after the 3 hour waking tour so if you are going to do that you should allow another hour or more after the 3 hours. Churchill rooms were really interesting but we didn’t leave enough time to do them properly because I didn’t read the itinerary properly.

Excellent tour! Our tour guide, Benedict, was very engaging and informative. We saw a good number of key London sights, and the pace was very good. We learned some fun facts and information. The highlight for us was seeing the changing of the guard, and Benedict got us in a great position to see it. We would highly recommend.
